You see both are advertising but with facebook chances are your audience is at a very early stage of buying cycle. So to make your campaign successful you need a very good marketing funnel in place. By early stage I mean;
You come in front of them out of nowhere. Most of the time they are not ready, but because of your good heading you make them curious about your service. But again if they land on a page where you only going to talk about your service or article that one click missed and potential lead to.
So what should I do Rehan?
Make sure before you start your facebook marketing at least your front end funnel is ready. This could be a report, offer, case study or anything else that has two way hand shake. One side they give you their email address, name, phone etc… and on the other hand you provide them something in return. “Fill the form, we will contact you back” has some drawbacks. It works well when people actively looking for a solution.
Rehan, I cannot offer anything to them I am sorry. What should I do now?
Simple forget about facebook and invest in Adwords, Bing etc… I mean “Search” PPC.
Because over there people actively searching for solution. i.e. “help me i am in debt” “debts are killing me” “i need help with a math problem” etc… If you are targeting specific niche you must know their problem because they will write down about their problem and not solution. And If you know their problems keywords comes natural don’t they? Target those keywords bring them to your page and ask for their details and call back request both. Leads will start coming in.
